Where It All Began

The picture above is of Roy Hartley, our Managing Director. This was taken in 1960 at The Granby Halls in Leicester, and this is Roy with his own exhibition of hand made kitchens. Since then he has been doing the same thing over and over, selling quality products at affordable prices. And today Roy is still very hands on and very involved in the day to day running of Hi Speed. Hi Speed started life as a D.I.Y shop, hence the name Hi-Speed DIY Ltd, we still cut board and worktops to size on request and are more than willing to help anybody. Although our main business is now making and fitting kitchens we have kept the name because we have built up a very good reputation over the years and are well known throughout the midlands.

Hi Speed is a small family business based on Trinity Lane, Hinckley, Leicestershire since 1973
We have our own factory so we can make cabinets of all shapes and sizes, shapes to suit the most awkward of shaped kitchens. We don't stock any cabinets so every cabinet is made specially for your home. Samples can be brought to your home so you can see for yourself the quality of our products. So you really can have a truly bespoke kitchen at an affordable price. Our showroom is in Hinckley too, Trinity Lane and can be viewed Monday to Saturday at normal opening hours. If you can't make normal hours then we can arrange to meet you there any time, even Sundays. |
We at Hi Speed pride ourselves on customer satisfaction , from a small door change to complete new kitchen , the attention and quality is always 100%.
We are not your big store that's more interested in sales figures and the signiature on the dotted line , with a "thanks for the cheque , here's your kitchen and this is our customer services number". To us every job is treated as personal , a new kitchen is not something you do every day , so it has to be done right , if you want to talk to us just walk into our showroom or pick up the phone , it's that simple.
We can supply only or project manage the whole job including fitting , plumbing , tiling , plastering , decorating and any building works , all this done by trustworthy and tidy tradesmen whose work and mannerism is well known to ourselves.
We know anyone can be beaten on price, but not everybody can be beaten in quality , thats service as well as product , this is where we believe we stand above others.
